Dear Friends of the Iberoamerican Food Engineering community,
We have completed the first stage of our CIBIA VII. I want to thank the academic and logistic committees as well as the juries and those who have registered and submitted papers, as they have allowed this stage itself to be a success. Overall we have to March 27th over 650 registrations and about 450 papers submitted to juries.
As we all know because of the amount of requests we receive to extend the closing date, we gave a second term. Being consistent with this concession, and in consideration of our juries we have decided to run the first payment date of registration until May 4th for all to receive the letter of acceptance or otherwise of their work.
The program is now ready for plenary lectures with the participation of 10 Iberoameriacan researchers both as close friends to our community, all of them of the highest academic and scientific level.
We are consolidating the program in parallel sessions, which thanks to the coordinators will also have an excellent program. In each session we will have one or two of the best received papers. Also, at the request of some participants, we will have special spaces for meetings or forums for specific groups and research networks.
Taking into account that in addition to science, a congress of this magnitude is an ideal opportunity to share experiences on a personal level, we have also sought spaces that provide an integrated environment of camaraderie and friendship.
I reiterate the joy we feel to be your host from September 6 to 9 in Bogotá.
Welcome to Colombia.
